The Franklin Lions opened up with a roar and ended licking their wounds after backing the Reicher Coguars back into a corner in the first half of Friday nights opener which Reicher took 27-13.
The Lions dominated the defensive side of the ball in the fist half limiting the high powered Riecher Offense to less than 60 yards total offence with the fist play from scrimmage being an interception by Landon Vickers. Booboo Jesse Burns scored the two TD's from one and six yards out.
The second half saw four onside kicks by Reicher and three recoveries and one penalty for off-sides. After the offsides Reicher kicked off deep and Quen Darnell's first return of the season ended in a fumble quickly recovered by the Cougars.
Clueley threw for over two hundred yards and rushed for 35 more. Franklin could get nothing goin in the second half and Reicher wore them out!
The Lions take on the Bremond team coming in at 0-1 after losing at home to the Lexington Eagles.
